What we collect

Account details: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name.

Quiz answers and everything you log in the app: meals, symptoms, night check-ins, weight and body details if you add them, medication notes if you add them, and your settings.

Payment details are handled by Stripe. We see your plan and payment status, never your full card number.

Basic technical data such as device type, pages visited and, if you accept cookies, data that helps us measure our ads.

Your health information

What you log about food and symptoms is sensitive. You choose to give it to us so Quellbite can build your plan and analysis, and you can withdraw that choice at any time by deleting your account.

We do not send symptom details or food logs to analytics or advertising tools. Those tools only receive general events, such as a completed quiz or a purchase.

How we use your data

To build your weekly plan, find your likely triggers, keep your food memory, send the reminders you turn on, and produce your doctor report.

To send service emails such as login links and your quiz result, and to take payment and provide support.

To understand how the product is used and improve it.

Who helps us run Quellbite

We use trusted providers for hosting and database (Vercel, Supabase), payments (Stripe), email (Resend), product analytics (PostHog) and food recognition (Anthropic). When you use the scanner or type a meal we cannot recognise, that photo or text is sent to Anthropic to identify the ingredients.

If you accept cookies, Meta and Google receive ad measurement data. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in. Advertising cookies load only if you accept them in the banner.

How long we keep data

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your logs and profile are removed. We may keep payment records for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your rights

You can export all your data as a file and delete your account at any time in Settings. You can also write to us to access, correct or restrict your data, or to object to how we use it.

If you live in the EU, UK or California you have these rights by law, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Quellbite is for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18.
